Also explain the main idea chart to the students and inform them to fill out the chart as they are reading the article. 476250054800500 Step 5: Have students read the article. Once students have read the article make sure that they have answered the multiple choice questions located in the â€Å"activity† tab. The students' first responses are what Achieve 3000 will use to determine if their reading level is improving. ** As students are answering the multiple choice questions, have them click the button. This will allow them to look at the article at the same time as answering the questions. It will place both side by side. Step 6: Have a quick 3-5 minute class discussion and see if the students' opinion to the before reading poll changed. If so, why did it change? Step 7: With the remaining time have the students choose articles of their choice to complete. Step 8: With their selected article have the students complete the same process as before all on their own. Students should briefly answer the pre-reading question, read the article while filling out their main idea chart, and then answer their multiple choice questions.
